TroutNearMe is a free site with trout stocking reports and river conditions. You do not need an account to use it, and we do not ask for your name, email address or location.

What we collect

• Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and troubleshooting, kept for a limited time.
• Maps. Map views on water pages are provided by OpenStreetMap, which receives your request when a map loads.

Advertising

We may show ads from Google AdSense.Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

Links to other sites

Pages link to state agencies, the U.S. Geological Survey, the National Weather Service and other sites. Some links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Other sites have their own privacy policies.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
