The information

Stocking reports come from state fish and wildlife agencies and river conditions from the U.S. Geological Survey. Agencies revise and cancel stockings, recent gage readings are provisional, and we can make mistakes collecting them. The site is provided as is, without any warranty. Always check the agency's own report and the current fishing regulations before you fish; you are responsible for following them.

Safety

Water levels, weather and access change quickly. Nothing on this site says a place is safe to visit or fish.

Agencies and corrections

TroutNearMe is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by any agency. If you represent an agency and want information corrected, credited differently or removed, contact us and we will act on it promptly.
